About Our Golf Club

Sakura Senior Golf Club provides a friendly atmosphere to play with a friend or with new friends - we’d love to get to know you and enjoy 18-holes of golf together. 

 

The Sakura Senior Golf Club group is made up of men and women golfers (55+) of all playing levels, enjoying golf almost every Thursday of the year.

Any level may play.  We are here to play for fun and to participate in a variety of weekly games.  Make new friends and have a drink or bite to eat after our round.  Let’s share stories, food, and laughter each week!

Bartley Cavanaugh Golf Course has been our home for over 20 years.  Bright and early almost every Thursday of the year, you’re likely to find 20 to 40 happy members hitting the links.  We play mostly Medal Play and Closest-to-the-Pin, but for variety around once a month we will play a Team Game, such as a Scramble.  Also, once a month, between the months of March and November, we travel and play a variety of different courses in the Sacramento Region - see the Home page for this year's outings.

The Sakura Senior Golf Club is an Associate Member of the Northern California Golf Association, which assures members a handicap index that is recognized worldwide.
